M&A Fashion is a clothing brand based in The Gambia, West Africa. For the logo, the company wanted one that was simple yet elegant, but most importantly efficient for printing, and use on the company website/app. As a novice designer, I used the vector graphics editor, Inkscape, to create different logo illustrations.
The M&A boutique store uses a Square Stand POS system with USB receipt printers. Due to constraints on the size of the logo space on the Square app for the receipt printer — paper guide of (2.28 in. / 58 mm) — the current logo draft uses a rectangle shape to take up as much space, with white letter prints on a black background to firmly portray the company name, M&A Fashion.
